Some YWCA Tri History...

claireywca.pngYWCA WOMEN'S TRIATHLON - In an earlier post, we erroneously said that this race would celebrate its 10th anniversary on Sunday. It will actually celebrate its 11th birthday. Our apologies to the race organizers.

Recently a guy asked us to post the past champions of the YWCA Women's Tri. We are happy to provide that information..

 

You'll note that four women have won this storied race three times (photos).

2010 - Amateur Winner - LYDIA NOVOTNY (Hopkins) - 1:14:00

Baker Park Course in 2008 and 2009 - Same basic distances as the Lake Nokomis course. The race left Baker because it outgrew the venue.
