Spring Break in Havasu...

We were up at Lutsen snowboarding at the beginning of December and a friend of ours from New Mexico mentioned this really fun triathlon she did in Arizona

The race was also the MOUNTAIN STATES TRIATHLON CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP resulting in a lot of collegiate competitors. Colorado won it all. It was interesting to see the partiers and triathletes intermingled. We were sporting GW gear on race day and had a few people approach us from MN and WI. Chris Lieferman (sp) did the race as a collegian and he did well, we had a fun talk with him and his brother.

The race:

Havasu is home to the London Bridge. A wealthy American businessman bought it and had it brought over and reassembled piece by piece in Lake Havasu City. It connects to an Island which is where the run course is held.
