Six Minnesota triathletes age 50-and-over with at least three starts to date are undefeated this season. Most are stting AG records aalmsot every outing. Who are they? And what have they accomplished.

TIM BROWN, 65, Emily – Five starts. Five AG wins. Four AG records.
LUKE HARNED, 71, St.Paul - Five starts. Five AG wins. At least three AG records.
CHECK HENGEL, 60, Wayzata (photo) – Six starts. Six AG wins. At least three AG records
ROD RAYMOND, 59, Duluth – Three starts. Three AG wins. Three Top 7 overall finishes.

JAN GUENTHER, 65, Long Lake – Four starts. Four AG wins. Three AG records.
CHERYL ZITUR, 59, Corcoran – Four starts. Four AG wins. Three overall women's titles....

Of the over-age 50 age groups, the most competitive are the 55-59 women, and it's been ths way for a a few years now. Zitur leads the way certainly, but she will age-up before the 2024 season begins. Will the AG be as formidable next year. No. Not only is Zitur joining the 60-64s, so is CHRISTEL KIPPENHAN, who has enjpyed a aabrilliant 2024 season, and would have made this list if she hadn't finished behind Zitur at Northwoods. Nevertheless, her local resume features four AG records in five starts. Setting the 55-59 standards for the next few seasons will be national class talent JULIA WEISBECKER, and AMY WOOLSEY.

Performance standards for 50-54-year-old women will be seriousy challenged next year as BECKY YOUNGBERG, the clear frontrunner for 2024 Master of the Year, ages up.
