Recently, a guy asked us to list the Top 10 fastest half Ironman times by amateur Minnesota men and women in the last three years. We were happy to oblige...

What we learned during the research phase impressed us. In the last three years,33 amateur Minnesota men broke the 4:20 mark twenty-nine times. And a simialr number of women--31!--broke 4:50 during this period. Not only that, five other women--Gaby Bunten, Sara Carlson, Kristin Gustafson, Erin Klegstad and Andrea Myers--came very close to that mark in the last three years. We have no doubt that most, if not all, five of those ladies will be knocking down times in the 4:40s this season.
