Mo Mouw's favorite beer is Summit Pale Ale. Knowing that his friend David Holden shares an affection for this particular adult beverage, Mo asked David if he, perchance, "had a six-pack?" Overhearing the question, Dan Cohen peeled back his skinsuit, revealing a "six pack" of his own. The laughing trio then posed for the picture you see here. And whether you believe it or not, Dan's gut is NOT sucked in. It's really like that.
This photo was taken at last year's Croixathlon. Dan won that race. His shirted compatriots, David (right) and Mo (left) took 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
Cohen and Holden will be racing in this year's edition--the 5th--of the Croixathlon. Mo has yet to register, though his lovely wife..

As with the men, Lake Waconia's women's elite field is the deepest of the year thus far, despite the absence of Cathy Yndestad and Julie Hull, who will be doing other stuff this weekend.
Last year's podium finishers--Brook Mutzenberger (photo), Jan Guenther and Susan Williams--are back. Duplicating their 2009 placings will be difficult, however, thanks to the formidable presence of past LWT champ Marlo McGaver,...

Chris Leiferman and Suzie Olsen were victorious at the Fairmont Olympic Triathlon for the second consecutive year. And both were significantly faster than in 2009. Chris's 2:03:26 was a 5:25 improvement; Suzie's 2:29:35 was 8:27 quicker than a year ago. Lynette Bacon defended her Sprint title, doing so in a time that was 3:42 better last year's. The men's Sprint was won by Kevin Leiferman, Chris' little brother....RESULTS
